Chartered by the American Legion, Troop 512 is a boy-led scouting program focused on character, leadership, and outdoor adventure. The troop creates a supportive environment where Scouts build confidence, develop practical skills, and form lifelong friendships through shared experiences and service. From camping under the stars to fishing trips and shooting sports, every activity is designed to challenge, inspire, and prepare Scouts for life beyond the trail. Troop 512 proudly serves Scouts ages 10–18, helping them grow, lead, and thrive while honoring the values of teamwork, responsibility, and community service.

What Troop 512 Stands For

Troop 512 operates with a clear purpose: to develop young leaders through real world experiences. Each program encourages:

Adventure, Skills, and Service

Scouting at Troop 512 goes beyond meetings. The program includes outdoor adventures, skill development, and community involvement that reinforce teamwork and self-reliance. Activities are structured to be engaging, safe, and rewarding while creating meaningful memories that last. Each Scout progresses at their own pace, supported by experienced leaders and a strong chartered organization committed to youth development.
