News Flash! Troop 512 Eagle Scout Wins Circle 10 Council Eagle Scout Project of the Year for 2025
Henry S. passed his Eagle Board of Review and was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout in 2025. His Eagle Scout project, 3D Printing for Patients of Scottish Rite for Children, was conceived while he was a patient at the orthopedic hospital. He worked with his beneficiary to create a catalog of 3D printing designs for aids and toys suitable for young patients during their stays at Scottish Rite.
After building prototypes of each aid or toy, Henry, with his assistance from his parents, assembled a social media campaign to solicit 3D items from his catalog to be printed by Scouts across the country.
Ultimately, Henry received over ONE THOUSAND aids and toys, along with letters from Scouts in 11 states. Henry and his helpers then packaged each aid with instructions for use and delivered them to Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas for distribution to patients.
There were over 700 Scouts in Circle 10 Council who were awarded the rank of Eagle in 2025. Henry was surprised at his Eagle Court of Honor with this prestigious honor in February 2026. Circle 10 Council encompasses 20 counties, including Dallas, in northeast Texas, and four counties in southeast Oklahoma.
