Membership Information
Welcome to the American Legion Chris Kyle Post 388 online store for new member applications and renewals for current members. As a New applicant or Current Post member, you may also select dual or multi memberships in the Sons and/or Riders. If you are applying for new membership, you will need to come to one of our meetings to complete your application and provide eligibility documentation as described below. See our Events Calendar for meeting information.

Eligibility
Post Membership Eligibility Requirements
If you have served at least one day of active military duty since December 7, 1941 and were honorably discharged, or if you are still serving active military duty honorably, you are eligible for membership with The American Legion.

Sons of the American Legion (Sons) Membership Eligibility Requirements
In general, male descendants, adopted sons, and stepsons of members of The American Legion, and male descendants of veterans who served in WWI or WWII and after who served honorably or who died subsequent to their honorable discharge from such service.

American Legion Riders (ALR) Membership Eligibility Requirements
Members must hold membership in and be in good standing with The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Sons of The American Legion; and,
- Members must be legally registered motorcycle owners or be the legally registered owner's spouse within the state of registration.
- All operators must be properly licensed and insured per state laws.
- All members must obey motor-vehicle laws in the state in which they are operating a motorcycle or riding as a passenger.

American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Membership Eligibility Requirements
In general, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, spouses, and direct and adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion or descendants of those who served during WWI or WWII or later.
