Veterans History Project Day

Join the American Legion, Auxiliary, and local Scouts to document as many Veterans’ histories as possible in one day! Scouts will interview Veterans in conjunction with the Library of Congress’ Veterans History Project. All interviews will be submitted to the Library of Congress as well as available at the museum at the new Veterans Center coming to Ellis County. More details to come.

We will schedule approximate times for Veteran interviews or just come enjoy the day with fellow Veterans and their families while you wait for your interview time. Check back later for details on how to sign up to participate.

As an added bonus, we scheduled our event to coincide with the monthly Lord’s Wranglers event. They meet the 2nd Saturday of each month from March – December in the CCEC Arena. The focus of The Lord’s Wranglers is to introduce and grow children and their parents in the Lord, through teaching them the basic skills of horsemanship.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
